Crazy Planets : Still down? 11/13/2011
Facebook app: CrazyPlanets has been down for maintenance for several weeks if not longer. My boys were addicted to the robots blowing up stuff and freezing the bad guy but over time quit playing the game. Periodically i check the site to see if they opened any new features but nope still down. Anyone know when this is coming back if it all?
Standby for Arrival 11/13/2011
We are mere hours away from a very long day. Crystal goes in very early to do all that lovely paperwork and then I'll arrive with the boys mid morning. Then we all pace the waiting room for the answer we have all been waiting for.. Abby's arrival. Anything and everything that has been needed to get ready for her has been completed. I can hardly wait to see my little girl, as my wife has been anxiously waiting for her to get out to spoil her. Joey and Ethan are excited to be getting a sister, they are just not to keen that the doctor has to remove her from the bellybutton area.
Super Strength 11/12/2011
Where does one begin.. Ethan my youngest who by the way is only 2 to be 3 in a few days is really really strong. Anyhow, we got the boys some toys including really cheap giant scissors. In a matter of minutes he pulled them apart with brute force and said "I DId It!". Meanwhile Joey's still works. So I ask this, how in the world do I protect Abby's toys to come.
Push Mowers Suck! 11/12/2011
I'm sorry if I have to pull 30+ times to start a POS then the hell with it. I had planned a second attempt to mow, but the stupid thing wont run. All the fluids were checked, plenty of gas WTH! So unless the grass wants to die with the winter blast coming on, it's going to need to wait until tax return to replace it.
Free Hosting @ Weebly vs. elsewhere 11/12/2011
During this past week, I ran against the idea of trying to create and manage my own HTML for this page. Of course I ran into a few problems, here on Weebly we can not use a FTP to send files up nor can we modify the scripting because it's all done inhouse. However if one knows how to tweak CSS and HTML using the built in web editor than you could upload a zip file of those files and than the product would modify your page. In this case it just made more sense using a designed theme and adding files as I go. Oh well, gives me more time to focus on other challenges.
I did check on a few free host pages that did offer what I was looking for as to FTP and managing my own page my way. But I saw the drawback as low tolerance and very low bandwith that could be exceded just on checking your own page. With that being said, I've decided to make Weebly my home as long as they decide to let me stay over time.
Few days left 11/12/2011
It's hard for me to believe, but in a couple of days our family will expand with the arrival of my daughter this Monday. Abby has been in our planning from day1 but took several years to get here. My boys are excited with a little sister to play with. I just wish I was not so nervous of the outcome. Either way it goes, Crystal and I will make sure she feels right at home in this big crazy world.
I'm back. 11/10/2011
Looks like Facebook is making it easier for users to create blogs elsewhere. Today the service removed importing RSS feeds. What it comes down to is this, there are times we have stuff on our mind and need a place to vent. Back in the early stages of the web it was on networks such as this. Now turn the clocks forward if we comment or post a thought on Facebook sometimes we get many negative comments because we are sharing to much? Correct me if I am wrong about this, is this not the point of a Social Network?
