Laundry Baskets vs. Carbeds 12/15/2011
From my understanding foam carbeds would seem more comfortable than say sitting squashed into a laundry basket. But for whatever the reason that has compelled my boys here they sit watching "Max And Ruby" on NickJR ondemand in a basket. If you don't believe me, you will. Pictures will be uploaded a little later.
Oops I fell asleep with what?? 11/26/2011
Abby was having a long night of gas wake ups. Due to circumstances beyond my control (need for sleep) I was unaware that I feel asleep with the spit rag on my shoulder while my daughter rested in her bassinet. I was wondering why my shoulder smelled like milk in every dream sequence. I guess it could have been worse.
Abby's first night home 11/17/2011
Like my wife warned me, this little girl is nocturnal. She woke up after I put Joey and Ethan down at 12:15am went down by 2am, woke up again at 3am. She eats good, likes to play but then cuddles into you and then wipes out again. There is a little jealousy from Ethan's point of view, but this is very new to the boys. I'm sure thankful for Coffee and Caffeinated tea. Something caused Ethan to be sick briefly and woke up to deal with it and now he is resting peacefully so i think. I will find out when I move him back to the bed. Time to do a quick re-wash of clothes and then off to bed.
Standby for Arrival 11/13/2011
We are mere hours away from a very long day. Crystal goes in very early to do all that lovely paperwork and then I'll arrive with the boys mid morning. Then we all pace the waiting room for the answer we have all been waiting for.. Abby's arrival. Anything and everything that has been needed to get ready for her has been completed. I can hardly wait to see my little girl, as my wife has been anxiously waiting for her to get out to spoil her. Joey and Ethan are excited to be getting a sister, they are just not to keen that the doctor has to remove her from the bellybutton area.
Super Strength 11/12/2011
Where does one begin.. Ethan my youngest who by the way is only 2 to be 3 in a few days is really really strong. Anyhow, we got the boys some toys including really cheap giant scissors. In a matter of minutes he pulled them apart with brute force and said "I DId It!". Meanwhile Joey's still works. So I ask this, how in the world do I protect Abby's toys to come.
